Reordering uses HTML5 drag-and-drop, which does not fire on touch — a touchscreen laptop or tablet cannot reorder attachments at all, and there is no keyboard path either. Desktop-pointer users are fine; everyone on touch silently keeps upload order.
Fix shape (pick one or both):
- Small ◀/▶ stepper buttons on each thumb when the strip has 2+ items (works for touch and keyboard alike, and is the cheapest accessible reorder there is).
- Keyboard: make the thumb focusable with arrow-key move handlers (
role="listitem", arrow keys with a roving tabindex).
Whatever lands, the drag path stays — this is about the fallback, not a replacement.
