How to start using only TX or RX pin? #3

Often the data trasfert could be "one way", aka Simplex, so it is not necessary to configure on Arduino both Arduino TX and RX ports. Is there a way to start RH_ASK in "simplex mode" and use only one pin instead two? This is to avoid pin consumption.
