Re. https://extension.js.org/docs/commands/build, I understand "chromium-based" for dev when you need to point at a Chromium binary. But I don't understand the point of "chromium-based" for the build command because you don't need to point to a binary in order to build the artifact, do you?

Since build doesn't launch a browser binary, using chromium-based for build would just produce a Chromium-engine artifact — functionally the same as chromium. The docs don't document a meaningful distinction there.
