## [0.14.0] - 2026-10-14

### Added
- Replay mode now tracks which stubs have served at least one request. `POST /__admin/reset` and `POST /__admin/mappings/reset` accept an optional `?logUnusedMappings` query parameter (presence alone enables it, no value needed); when present, every stub that was never matched is logged before the mappings are cleared
- `LogUnused` logging helper prints an unused stub as a two-column WireMock-style table (stub request on the left, stub response on the right), showing whichever of `url`, `urlPath` or `urlPattern` the stub uses, plus query parameter, header and body matchers, and the response status, headers and body

### Changed
- `POST /__admin/mappings/reset` now logs "All mappings reset", matching `POST /__admin/reset`

When no mapping matches, GoodMock returns a `404` with a diagnostic log showing the closest stub and where the mismatch occurred.

### Unused Stub Logging

Replay mode tracks which stubs have served at least one request. Resetting with `?logUnusedMappings` (see [Admin API](#admin-api)) prints a WireMock-style table for each stub that was never matched, with the stub's request matchers on the left and its response on the right:

```
Stub was unused
===============
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
| Stub request | Stub response |
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
|
GET | Status: 200
[urlPath] /api/v1/entities/workspaces | Header: Content-Type: application/json
Query: size [equalTo 50] | Body [json] {"data":[]}
|
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
```

This is useful for spotting recorded stubs a test no longer exercises, so they can be pruned from the mapping files.

## WireMock Compatibility

GoodMock's **admin API** (`/__admin` endpoints) is WireMock-compatible — tools like Cypress WireMock integrations work without changes.

Escape line breaks before printing table cells.

If a stub has a multiline response body, truncate leaves short line breaks intact. The body then splits one table row into several unlabelled log lines. Escape control characters in both cells before truncation so each criterion stays on one row.

Review comment at @internal/logging/logging.go at line 154:
Update the table-row formatting around fmt.Printf to escape control characters
in both cells, l and r, before passing them to truncate, so multiline content
remains on a single labeled row.

Mark the mapping before releasing the matching lock.

MatchRequest returns a pointer into s.Mappings, not a copy. A concurrent import or mapping add can reallocate the slice after MatchRequest releases its read lock. The assignment can then update the old backing array, while logUnusedMappings later reports the stored mapping as unused.

Move the marking into MatchRequest while the mapping lock is held, and remove the separate assignment.

Make logging and clearing one reset operation.

If a request matches a stub after logUnusedMappings releases its lock but before ClearMappings acquires its lock, the reset can log that served stub as unused. The same gap exists in POST /__admin/mappings/reset at Line 213. Take and clear the mapping snapshot atomically, then log unused entries from that snapshot.

Release the mapping lock before writing logs.

When an admin caller uses ?logUnusedMappings during replay traffic, blocked standard output can keep s.Mu.RLock() held. Matching replay requests then wait at s.Mu.Lock() before they can build their responses. This is a narrow risk because the logging path requires an explicit reset query parameter.

Copy the unmatched mappings while holding the read lock, then call logging.LogUnused after releasing it.
