This is generally attributable to the Compose BoM, which we use on the application. It is worth opening an issue on the Google Tracker and bring the attention of the Compose maintainers.
Hi, same issue here. Do you have any updates guys? I can't bump the compose bom version anymore.
It seems like the library might be capturing the BitmapDescriptor snapshot before the newer Compose layout passes actually finish drawing. Are there plans to upgrade past BoM 2026.03.00 and adapt the snapshotting to await these newer lifecycle timings?
Waiting on an upstream framework "fix" seems unlikely to resolve this, as the core Compose team's layout lifecycle changes are almost certainly intentional performance optimizations.

Beginning with
androidx.compose:compose-bom:2026.04.01settingcontentonMarkerInfoWindowContenthas no effect (i.e. the info window stays empty).
