Jeroen Vervaeke: Senior Rust Software Developer at MongoDB 🍃 in Dublin

Hi, I'm Jeroen 👋 I'm a senior software developer based in Dublin, Ireland, with 10+ years of experience and 6 years of production Rust.

  • 🍃 Now: Senior Software Engineer at MongoDB, working on Atlas Local, the Atlas CLI and the MongoDB MCP server.
  • ☁️ Before: Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where I built the Rust tooling that deploys AWS Lambda runtimes to every region.
  • 🏗️ Before that: Lead Software Architect at Proceedix, where I led the move from a C# monolith to event-sourced Rust microservices.
