When building the ESP32 firmware in VS Code using the ESP-IDF extension, the extension often generates an initial
sdkconfigusing the default Bluedroid host before the user selects theesp32c3target. This causes the build to fail withfatal error: nimble/nimble_port.h: No such file or directory.I added a Troubleshooting section to the
ESP32Firmware/README.mdto help future users quickly resolve this viamenuconfigor by clearing their local build files.
