Summary
Document the new organization-scoped custom roles as code workflow, added in lightdash/lightdash#25520.
Changes
lightdash/custom-roles/<slug>.yml), download/upload lifecycle (create / update / no-change), org-admin permissions, and immutability of the role level.--organizationflag onlightdash downloadandlightdash uploadin the CLI reference, with examples.Context
Custom roles are the first organization-scoped domain in content as code. The CLI's
--organizationmode switches download/upload away from project content and hits an org endpoint that requires an organization admin. Uploads are per-file and non-destructive — malformed files fail individually and no role is ever deleted.
