Summary

  • Adds a new /why-mqtt page targeting technical decision-makers with a business-focused value proposition for MQTT
  • Page includes: benefit cards with real-world proof points, industry use-case navigation linking to existing anchors on /use-cases, and a protocol comparison table (MQTT vs Apache Kafka vs AMQP vs REST/Webhooks)
  • Page styles added to _sass/style.scss following project conventions
  • Adds vendor to _config.yml exclude list and .bundle/ to .gitignore

Test plan

  • Run bundle exec jekyll serve and verify /why-mqtt renders correctly
  • Confirm all use-case anchor links (#automotive, #logistics, etc.) resolve correctly on the /use-cases page
  • Verify "Why MQTT" appears in site navigation
  • Check responsive layout at mobile breakpoints
