check-sysdiagnosecurrently aborts on a truncated archive even when it contains complete files that could still be analyzed. Recover those complete members automatically and print a warning that the analysis is partial and archive integrity cannot be verified. Incomplete files are excluded from extraction, crash-log indexes, and member metadata; inputs with no recoverable files still fail.The reader also checks the gzip trailer after the tar end marker, preserves an earlier complete file if a later duplicate is truncated, and retains the existing restrictions on unsafe paths and links. Extensions can consume the recovered member metadata without reopening the damaged archive. When
sysdiagnose.logis missing, timezone detection can fall back to the original archive filename.
