The interactive `mcp-publisher login github` was refused with 403 for io.github.open-deltat/deltat even for an org admin with public membership: the registry reads org access through its own GitHub app. A manually dispatched workflow logs in with github-oidc instead, which proves the run belongs to the org with no stored secret and no person logging in. mcp-publisher is pinned to v1.8.1 and checked against the release's checksums before it runs. @open-deltat/mcp0.2.0 is on npm, but the MCP registry listing could not be submitted from a laptop. Two attempts withmcp-publisher login githubboth returned 403, "You have permission to publish: io.github.simonorzel26/*". That was after making the org membership public, with GitHub confirming it publicly and the account being an org admin. The registry reads org access through its own GitHub app, so a personal device login cannot vouch for the org here. This adds a manually dispatched workflow that logs in with
github-oidc. GitHub's OIDC token proves the run belongs toopen-deltat, so there is no stored secret and no interactive login. Every future listing update becomesgh workflow run mcp-registry.yml.mcp-publisheris pinned to v1.8.1 and checked against the release'schecksums.txtbefore it runs. The download and checksum step was verified locally against the real release.contents: readandid-token: writeonly.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
