# prepare

$ sudo apt-get install git-core git-svn ruby
$ sudo gem install svn2git

# first run (will take long)

svn2git https://svn.cv.nrao.edu/svn/casa/  --no-minimize-url --authors authors.txt --metadata

# to update

from the git folder run:

$ svn2git --rebase
$ for i in `git branch  | grep -v "*" | grep -v personal `; do git checkout $i; git push origin $i; done;

Note that we can't just push all branches since some of them are broken.
