Build and start the frontend, backend, and MySQL database:
cp .env.example .env
docker-compose up --buildThe app will be available at:
- Frontend: http://localhost:5173
- Backend API: http://localhost:8000
The Compose setup creates a MySQL database named sso and passes the backend a matching DB_URL.
Development defaults are listed in .env.example. Copy it to .env for local runs; Compose loads .env.example first and then .env for container runtime values, while Compose interpolation such as ports and build args comes from .env.
Change these before using the stack outside local development:
SECRET_KEYREFRESH_SECRET_KEYMYSQL_PASSWORDMYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORDBREVO_API_KEYEMAIL
To point the built frontend at another API URL, change the VITE_BACKEND_URL build argument under the frontend service.
docker-compose up --build
docker-compose down
docker-compose down -vUse docker-compose down -v only when you also want to remove the local MySQL data volume.
If your Docker install uses the newer Compose plugin, the same commands also work with docker compose.
