skiff-dbus-proxy

skiff-dbus-proxy forwards selected D-Bus service names from a host system bus into a Skiff Core container system bus.

It is intentionally not a general D-Bus bridge. The proxy owns only the service names listed with --service on the container bus, forwards method calls for those names to the host bus, and mirrors host signals for the same services back into the container bus. Calls to other container-local services stay on the container bus.

Example:

skiff-dbus-proxy \
  --service org.freedesktop.NetworkManager \
  --from unix:path=/run/dbus/system_bus_socket \
  --container-pid 1234

--container-pid connects to unix:path=/proc/<pid>/root/run/dbus/system_bus_socket. Use --to to pass an explicit container bus address instead.

Build

meson setup build
meson compile -C build

The only build dependency is libsystemd.
