May the source be with you.
Hacktoberfest is a month-long celebration of open source every October. SOSC runs its own Hacktoberfest drive for the college community. Contribute to open-source projects throughout the month, and log every pull request you make in one place.
- Find a project. Pick an SOSC repository or any open-source project on GitHub.
- Make a contribution. Fix a bug, improve the docs, add a feature, then open a pull request.
- Log it. Sign in with your college Google account and submit the PR link.
- Keep going. Log every PR you open during October. You can edit or remove your entries until the deadline.
- Any pull request you open on GitHub during October.
- Each PR is marked as either:
- SOSC project: a contribution to an SOSC repository.
- External project: a contribution anywhere else in open source.
- Each pull request can be logged once.
SOSC is a student-led, open-source, community-first group building in Mangalore. Find out more at sosc.org.in.
