This is pomodoro-applet, a GNOME and MATE Panel applet implementing a simple timer for the Pomodoro Technique (http://www.pomodorotechnique.com/). You will need the development files for libnotify, libcanberra-gtk, librsvg, and either libgnome-panel, libpanel-applet or libmate-panel-applet to build this. The main author is John Stumpo <projects at stump dot io>.
