Surface the API's user-facing message for known errors instead of dumping raw APIError stack traces; hide internal/unexpected errors behind a generic message. Route instance-method errors through the friendly handler too. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
