@andreasabel: Thank you for your comments. The issue is that the binaries are only backwards compatible to the macOS version that they were built with, so ironically older is always better. This is one of the primary motivations behind agda-python, because cibuildwheel actually knows to build good backwards (and cross-linux) compatible binaries. My plan is for this action to simply call pip install going forward, at least for supported platforms and Agda versions.

I'm not really sure why the builds are failing, unfortunately :(

The commits that are here fix the obvious problems, but then the build still seems to be failing, so your help investigating would be very welcome.
