A minimal Type-2 hypervisor for Windows x64 using Intel VT-x/VMX.
HyperVision loads as a kernel driver and transparently virtualizes the running Windows OS. After loading, Windows continues to run normally but inside a virtual machine controlled by HyperVision. This provides:
- Full VMX root control — intercept CPUID, MSR access, CR changes, EPT violations
- EPT-based memory virtualization — identity-mapped with 2MB large pages
- Stealth — hides hypervisor presence from CPUID detection
- Clean shutdown — devirtualizes all cores on driver unload
